What is SimpledAId?
SimpledAId is a self-serve AI chatbot built for online stores. It learns your products and knowledge base, then answers shoppers and assists with sales around the clock. You connect your store, it reads your content, and it starts responding to buyers within the hour.
Which platforms does it work with?
SimpledAId works with Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, and Squarespace via native integrations. It also works on any other website through a short JavaScript snippet you paste into your site. See the install guides in the help centre.
How long does setup take?
Most stores are live within an hour. You connect your store or paste the snippet, SimpledAId imports your product catalogue and help content automatically, and the bot is ready. There is no onboarding call and no agency required.
How does it learn my store? Do I need to train it manually?
No manual training. SimpledAId reads your product pages, descriptions, and any knowledge-base content you connect. If you add new products or update your content, it stays in sync. The weekly gap detector flags questions the bot could not answer, so you can add that content yourself whenever you have a few minutes.
What is a "resolution" and how does billing work?
A resolution is a conversation the bot genuinely closed: the buyer got a useful answer and did not need to escalate. You are billed only for verified resolutions, counted at the end of the billing period. See how resolutions are counted for the full definition.
Is silence ever billed as a resolution?
No. If a buyer stops replying without getting a real answer, that conversation is not billed. You only pay when the bot actually helped.
What does it cost? Is there a free trial?
There is a free trial: 50 resolutions, full features, 14 days, card on file but nothing charged until the trial ends. Paid plans start at £49 per month (Starter, 100 resolutions) up to £375 per month (Pro, 750 resolutions), with overage at £0.60 per resolution. Can it hand off to a human?
Yes. Human handoff is built in. When a conversation needs a person, the bot transfers it to your support team rather than leaving the buyer stuck. You stay in control of which situations trigger a handoff.
Does it only handle support, or can it sell?
Both. SimpledAId answers product questions, helps buyers compare options, and surfaces the right product at the right moment. It is designed to reduce support volume and increase conversions, not just deflect tickets. Learn more on the features page.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your store data and your customers' conversations are never used to train AI models. Your data is processed solely to run your bot and stays within your account.
Is SimpledAId GDPR compliant? Where is data hosted?
Yes. SimpledAId is built by Simpled Tech Limited, a registered UK company, and was designed to meet GDPR standards from the start. Infrastructure is hosted in the UK and EU. Full details are on the security and privacy page.
Will it respond in my brand voice? What about other languages?
The bot is configured with your brand tone and voice guidelines, so responses feel like your brand, not a generic chatbot. It can handle conversations in multiple languages based on how the buyer writes to it.
What happens if the bot gets something wrong?
The weekly gap detector reviews conversations the bot could not answer or handled poorly and surfaces them for you to review. You fill in the missing content, and accuracy compounds over time. You can also review and adjust responses at any point from the dashboard.
Do I need technical skills to set it up?
No. If you can use Shopify or copy a line of code into a website footer, you can set up SimpledAId. The integrations are step-by-step and there is no coding required. The help centre has guides for every platform.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts on monthly plans. You can cancel from your account dashboard at any time and you will not be charged again. Annual plans are billed upfront for the year.
